Product Description
filters are fabricated by continuously winding V-shaped (trapezoidal) profile wire onto support rods and resistance-welding at every contact point. The V-slot geometry (0.02–1 mm / 20–1000 μm) minimizes blinding and concentrates energy for efficient backwashing, with open area of 30%–40% for low-pressure-drop, high-flow operation. The all-welded stainless steel, duplex or alloy construction resists differential pressure, corrosion and temperatures from -200°C to 350°C. These screens serve water treatment and desalination across the Middle East, food and beverage filtration in Europe, catalyst recovery in North American refineries, and mining and drilling in Asia-Pacific.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What slot sizes are available and what tolerances can you hold?
Standard slot sizes range from 25 to 300 microns. Typical tolerance is ±5–10 µm. For precision screening, tighter tolerances can be discussed based on specific application requirements and production feasibility.
Q2: How do you ensure surface smoothness and prevent blinding?
We offer polished and electropolished surface finishes to achieve low Ra values, which helps reduce material adhesion. When combined with appropriate backwashing or scraping systems, this design minimizes the risk of slot clogging caused by fibers or particulate matter.
Q3: What configurations and connection types do you offer?
We supply wedge wire in various forms, including filter candles (cartridges), screen baskets, flat panels,弧形筛 (ARC screens), and centrifuge screens. Common connections include flanges, threaded ends, and tri-clamp fittings. Non-standard dimensions and custom drawings are supported.
Q4: Where are wedge wire screens commonly installed?
They are frequently used in water wells, groundwater monitoring wells, sand control in oil & gas production, pulp thickening in paper mills, and dewatering screens in food processing. They are suitable for applications requiring robust mechanical strength combined with continuous slot openings.
