Product Description
Our sintered wire mesh filter cartridge is made from multiple layers of stainless steel mesh (typically a 5-layer construction) that are diffusion-bonded under high temperature and pressure. The overlapping mesh openings form a uniform, rigid filtration structure with high strength, excellent permeability and stable accuracy from 1 to 200 μm. Compared with fiber felt, it offers higher mechanical rigidity; compared with powder media, it provides better permeability and easier backwashing. These cartridges are widely used in petrochemical and polymer plants across the Middle East, pharmaceutical and food lines in Europe, chemical processing in North America, and water and gas filtration systems throughout Asia-Pacific.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What materials are used for sintered wire mesh filters?
Standard materials include SS304, SS304L, SS316, and SS316L stainless steel, common configurations include 5-layer, 6-layer, and 7-layer sintered mesh. For corrosive applications, we also supply Monel, Hastelloy, Duplex Steel, and Inconel alloys. All materials can be supplied with Mill Test Certificates (MTC) upon request.
Q2: What is your lead time for filter elements?
For items in stock, we can arrange shipment within 3–5 working days after payment confirmation. For non-stock or customized products (including metal custom filter elements), lead time is handled case by case depending on order quantity, specification complexity, and current production schedule. Exact delivery time will be confirmed in the proforma invoice per inquiry.
Q3: What connection types are available?
We offer standard connections including threaded (NPT/BSPT/G), flange, tri-clamp, and plain/weld-end interfaces. Custom flanges, special fittings, and multi-element assemblies can also be manufactured according to your drawings.
Q4: What are the key characteristics of sintered wire mesh filters?
These filters feature a metallurgically bonded structure, providing high strength and resistance to deformation under pressure. They support various cleaning methods—such as backflushing, ultrasonic cleaning, and chemical cleaning—allowing for repeated use. With a filtration rating from 1 to 200 microns and continuous temperature resistance up to 500°C (SS316L), they are suitable for hydraulic systems, polymer filtration, and water treatment applications.
